The world has ended

lizzie tanners on Jul-19-2008

My bestfriend died.  The world has officially stopped revolving.  I’m gonna miss you Cathy.  You were my rock.  Because of you, I was able to laugh in the toughest of times.  I hope you’re in a good place. Damn,I wish I am where you are.

Hate hospitals

lizzie tanners on Jul-14-2008

I don’t really hate it-hate-it, but the feeling that you’re going there because of a not-so-good reason gives me the bitter feeling whenever I set foot on a hospital.  The last time I went there was to wait for the body of a friend who was going to be buried in another state.  Since we cannot travel that far, that time was the only time we were able to say goodbye.  It was a mixed day at the hospital, while we grieve her passing, we also reminisced our college days with her, how quiet she was, and how noisy the rest of us alive were. That was 2 years ago.

Now, a relative of mine is in the hospital for the same disease.  It’s just heartbreaking.

Brain malfunction

lizzie tanners on Jul-8-2008

Well, this is sort of understatement but as I have been working a week after payday with the actual pay still not coming in, I am beginning to doubtful and fearful of my job.

Now my brain is spinning, thoughts are bombarding.  One part of it says that this is just an one-time case  while a part of it says the boss is making me leave my job by testing my patience.  Some part says the company is going downhill.

So, the term brain malfunction is applicable.

A quiet fourth of July

lizzie tanners on Jul-2-2008

Most people will be spending the fourth of July going away.  For me, this thought just popped in my head and I thought, what in the world am I going to do on that day?  It’s going to be a long weekend and I don’t want to spend my time alone in my flat while everyone’s having a good time because of the occasion.

But then, I thought where would I go?  I don’t want to get drunk over the weekend which most of my friends will end up based on the invitation they’ve left in my machine.  I might just curl up in my newly-bought couch and watch my all-time most watched movies to celebrate our independence.

Gaining hope

lizzie tanners on Jun-18-2008

It was a pretty, brutal week before.  Brutal,in the sense that we I had to endure a full week with my aunts.  Yes, I am one of those who had old-maid aunts.  No offense to those who are old-maids there.  But my aunts are so irritatingly annoying.  Yes, it sounds redundant but it they are annoying.

They would pinpoint how a slob I was in the morning, how glaring my blinds were or how “junky” the food were in in my fridge.  Ugh.  I felt like dying last week.  But now that they’re back in their country home, the world feels like good again.

Searching for the perfect father

lizzie tanners on Jun-11-2008

Well, my biological father is perfect. What I’m referring to is the father for me future children.  I am in the marrying age, majority of my friends and are getting married and the proof is I’m going to be a bridesmaid 5 times in July, this year.

Two couples of these upcoming weddings are already exypecting babies.  They are glowing, I only saw that kind of glow in expecting couples.  I want to have that glow, I want to be able to care for someone who is so pure and innocent.

But the thing is, I don’t have an inkling of who might be the perfect father.  I am single right now and not really looking, my life is all about work right now and saving and saving, maybe it’s about time I look around.

Dangers of microchip implants

Dogs are not only mans best friend. They are everybody’s best friend including women, although diamonds weigh more to them. Some know their dogs’ identity by just looking at them. Some put dog tags on them but now, they implant microchips in them. As small as a grain of rice, it is inserted between the dog’s shoulder blades at the scruff of the neck. It will be sealed of with a glass and will be completely motionless and harmless to your beloved dog. The microchip utilizes radio frequency identification card technology.

Next time, it will be implanted in us too. It will be used to buy groceries, pay the bills, store medical and personal information. This way, the government can easily control us. That is also what they call the devils mark, synonymous to the number 666 and anti-Christ. Without that, people won’t be able to slowly buy and consume basic necessities. Of course, they will tell you the good stuff and not tell you that it is anti-Christ. Its much like those pesky salesman that knocks on your door when you are busy the most.

We have our own mind to think. We might not always know the right thing but, with the right guidance, we can improve for the better. Just be careful. Do not tell me I did not warn you. This is a pretty crystal clear warning. The future is not near. The future is now. Are you ready to face the future?
