Well, this is sort of understatement but as I have been working a week after payday with the actual pay still not coming in, I am beginning to doubtful and fearful of my job.

Now my brain is spinning, thoughts are bombarding.  One part of it says that this is just an one-time case  while a part of it says the boss is making me leave my job by testing my patience.  Some part says the company is going downhill.

So, the term brain malfunction is applicable.
