Veteran News host Tim Russert died of a heart attack the age of 58.    What a big loss to the broadcast journalism industry.

I always look forward to his commentaries on the Meet the Press show.  He always appeared to be calm but his commentaries and questions are fully substantiated.  I was shocked when I learned he died, he looked healthy, he looked happy and then just going away like that.

He looked and sounded tough on his interviews with politicians.  He made sure that his questions were direct and void of any bull.  May he rest in peace.

Ok, I’m not promoting adultery here.  The operative word is they are hot, hot!  And so in my previous post I have state my desire to find the perfect father,  I thought of why not stretch it?  Sure, those Hollywood bachelors are the perfect candidates to be hot dads but I don’t know, I find the ones who have kids more appealing, maybe it’s because I’ve seen how gorgeous the kids would be like or they just became hotter once they learned the diaper duty.

So, here is a list of the hottest celebrity fathers we’d love to take home, well, in our dreams anyway.

1.  Brad Pitt

I am not envious of Angelina Jolie because of her looks and talent, but because she bagged Brad Pitt!  I mean, she got him to adopt her kids and carried Shiloh and now a set of twins! He is not only drop dead gorgeous, but his work in reviving New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina is worth applauding for.

2.  Ben Affleck

His mature image after getting married to Jennifer Garner and being a dad to his daughter Violet just made him look gorgeous.  He makes more sense now as he makes documentaries about the impoverished children and his directorial skills in Gone, Baby, Gone.

3. David Beckham

If his breathtaking underwear ads doesn’t make him a hot father, I don’t know what will.  His humanitarian work in Africa makes him a role model for everyone. But his soccer skills to have faded when he transferred in the U.S.,  or am I the only one who thinks that way.

They are not only gorgeous fathers but responsible ones as well.  Even they are almost always in front of the camera, they have their humanitarian advocacies which they can impart to their children.

As I am still in the Father’s day mode, I decided to write about some cooking tips my dad taught me. Yes, he cooks. I’m happy for the increasing number of men who actually can cook sumptuous meals. A lot can cook, but the difference lies in the taste and I’m proud to say my dad CAN cook.

So, here are a few cooking tips he taught me, well, these are what I can remember.

1. Always reheat cooked food on half power in the microwave - that’s what the reheating setting does. This reheats food evenly without frying the edges while leaving the center cold.

2. Tough meat? Try this..When you take meat out of the microwave oven, cover it with aluminum foil for 10 minutes before carving.

3. To cook rice in a microwave,place two cups of rice and 4 cups of boiling water in a microwave container and zap on high for 12 minutes. The rice will be beautiful - no smells in the kitchen, no water boiling over the stove.

4. To keep your oil-based salad dressings from going to the bottom of the bowl and keeping it on your greens, take your dressing and heat it in the microwave for ten seconds before using.

5. Need to peel a bunch of oranges for a salad? Just soak the oranges in boiling water for five minutes than usual. The white part of the peel will come off along with the peel to give an awesome look to your salad.

But to be perfectly honest, I have rarely followed this,except the salad part, because I love salads. But tried all of these and they are really effective, not only because they are cooking wisdoms for my dad.

Well, my biological father is perfect. What I’m referring to is the father for me future children.  I am in the marrying age, majority of my friends and are getting married and the proof is I’m going to be a bridesmaid 5 times in July, this year.

Two couples of these upcoming weddings are already exypecting babies.  They are glowing, I only saw that kind of glow in expecting couples.  I want to have that glow, I want to be able to care for someone who is so pure and innocent.

But the thing is, I don’t have an inkling of who might be the perfect father.  I am single right now and not really looking, my life is all about work right now and saving and saving, maybe it’s about time I look around.

We all know women just love to shop.  And most guys, well, don’t. It’s simply in the basic biological makeup of the male and female species.

Here is a scene you might amusingly familiar. First, you relentlessly beg to him to accompany you on your shopping spree. On the way, he whines and complains about the traffic, the scant parking space, and the mob of shoppers around the mall.

You finally get there. You stop by at every shop with an attractive display on the window. He tags along intolerantly while carrying your shopping bags and muttering something under his breath. You try on a few clothes while he sites on the waiting area by the door checking his watch every minute or so. Eventually, his impatience gets the best of him and tell you bluntly that it’s time to go.

So, how to avoid this situation? Here are some tips to get him to go shopping with you..willingly.

1. Go to a place with “everything” in it. Keep his interests in mind and make sure the mall you will go to will cater to both of your whims.

2. Make a list. Men don’t like to go around the mall aimlessly. Save the window shopping on a date with your girls pals.

3. Shop for holiday gifts and birthday presents for friends and family altogether. At least this time, you would be both on the same team.

4. Make him feel useful. When you try on a dress, ask him what he thinks or ask him to suggest a color that would best look good on you. You don’t have to give in to his opinions all the time, but through this way, he will feel that his opinions count.

5. End the day with a quality time together. A nice, quiet dinner or movie to cap the retail therapy day will be a perfect ending.

6. Let him wander by himself for sometime. This is to make him feel that you didn’t drag him along just to carry the bags. Agree on a certain time and spot where you would meet after. An hour-long of separation is good enough. He can check out gadgets and car accessories while you search for the perfect blouse.

When men need to buy something, they go directly to the store, no detours, no stopovers. There is a minority that love to shop but the stereotype myth hold true, shopping is a woman’s sport. And since relationships are about compromising, try to digest the above tips to convince your man to go shop with you and enjoy it too.

Dogs are not only mans best friend. They are everybody’s best friend including women, although diamonds weigh more to them. Some know their dogs’ identity by just looking at them. Some put dog tags on them but now, they implant microchips in them. As small as a grain of rice, it is inserted between the dog’s shoulder blades at the scruff of the neck. It will be sealed of with a glass and will be completely motionless and harmless to your beloved dog. The microchip utilizes radio frequency identification card technology.

Next time, it will be implanted in us too. It will be used to buy groceries, pay the bills, store medical and personal information. This way, the government can easily control us. That is also what they call the devils mark, synonymous to the number 666 and anti-Christ. Without that, people won’t be able to slowly buy and consume basic necessities. Of course, they will tell you the good stuff and not tell you that it is anti-Christ. Its much like those pesky salesman that knocks on your door when you are busy the most.

We have our own mind to think. We might not always know the right thing but, with the right guidance, we can improve for the better. Just be careful. Do not tell me I did not warn you. This is a pretty crystal clear warning. The future is not near. The future is now. Are you ready to face the future?

If guys think that girls are hard to comprehend, girls think so vice versa, too! Guys give meaning to everything, from you not calling on time to the way you talk at times. Whether you like it or not, serious guys entering into a relationship are very paranoid. They would want to make sure that they do everything right and they don’t mess this chance they have with a girl they like.

So, how do you avoid sending a wrong message? In reality, the place you live says a lot about what you really are. If a picture paints a thousand words and a video a means million thoughts, how would a “live” event seem? If a guy sees your place and he sees…

Red and Black furniture accent
As we all know, red is regarded as a hot and warm color. Also symbolizes aggression and high energy. In the western world, it is the symbol of love and passion. On the other hand, the color black is actually not a color. It is the absence of color. It is a mysterious and a color that is full of suspense. When both colors matched together, this will make a guy feel that the girl is seductive, hot and sexy. This can also be compared to her underwear colors where black and red are the sexiest ones. Guys fantasies are unlimited.

Disorganized flat
This might turn him off as he may regard you as a happy-go-lucky person. One who isn’t ready to face life seriously and it may lead to the guy thinking the girl is not serious. Think about it, would you leave your flat messed up knowing that a special visitor will stop by? I guess not.

Collection
Girls love them. Not just shoes, but bags, accessories, shirts, wallets, everything! But, do you know that if a guy saw your huge collection of shoes or bags, he would back-off a bit? Unless he is a filthy rich guy who can compensate your splurges, he will stop and think for awhile if he can handle that kind of situation in the future.

Your boy best friend
This is a no-no. Letting your boy best friend hang around your flat often is a bad idea, believe me. This is just the same as talking with him about your ex-boyfriend. It is also the same as listening to your guy best friend’s advice over his advice. The point here is, give importance and priority to him over anyone else. He would notice this and will appreciate it.

Animals and creatures
This will show him that you are not a kind of girl who over reacts when seeing a small mouse. This means, the girl is the girl-next-door type who isn’t afraid of doing anything menial like cleaning the bathroom. Having dogs or cats around means, you are responsible enough to feed, take care and clean them. Just make sure it is not insects that you are taking care of. Now that is a turn off.

Paper works everywhere
This might send two different signals to a guy. First, he might regard you as a workaholic. That is not good because he might think that you would be too busy for him next time, both of you would have a gap and thus, resulting to a dysfunctional relationship. On the other hand, he might regard you as a very responsible type of woman who can handle responsibility at it’s best. Just make sure, that being responsible comes with a great sense of time management.

So, if the guy you’re eyeing to be with for the rest of your life comes over, be sure to leave everything in order. They say that the fastest way to a man’s heart is his stomach? Not all the time. Even if you do not know how to cook but, you are a simple yet brilliant, organized person, he will love you anyway.
