6 Tips to happily dozing off
Aren’t we all insomniacs in a way? I bet everyone complains of having difficulty sleeping and for women, one possible conflict is the fluctuating hormone levels. And we can’t really control that, so what’s a lady to do?
1. Curb the caffeine. Limit caffeine intake, be it the all-so-reliable coffee or sodas. Be aware of caffeine and chocolate and in medications used to treat headaches, colds, and sinus congestions contribute to less sleeping hours as they keep our brains awake.
2. Stop smoking. Ok, this is one of those eternally things that are easier said than done. Nicotine impairs the ability to fall asleep and stay asleep.
3. Watch the alcohol. I indicated watch as we all need to have a certain amount of alcohol in our system. What we need to is to go for social drinking, and social meaning not the going to occasions everyday.
4. Get moving, sister. Lack of physical activity during the day is associated with sleeping problems. But strenuous activities too close to bedtime may make it more difficult ro fall asleep.
5. Eat dinner earlier. Eating too much food close to bedtime may make one fell sluggish but then it is bad for your digestive system to sleep after a good, hearty meal.
6. Skip the nap. Naps can make it harder can make you feel less sleepy at night. If you can’t get by without it, limit the napping time to just 30 minutes.
Our forefathers and our doctor’s have always emphasized to sleep for 8 hours. But with all the stress and hassle of work, pressure and the lures of other things, it is harder to keep up with that idea. But then, these tips will be able to aid us in our journey to a happily sleeping ever after.
